alternating angles
I started Primer 1 not knowing a single thing about tectonics and through this experience with the help of my lecturers, I was able to understand better the relationship between lines, planes, and volumes. It allowed me to be more aware of the clarity of the tectonics involved. Moreover, this project served as the stepping stone in my introduction to Architecture.
To explore the inverse relationship of planes and voids, I represented this in Alternating Angles. I used angles as a way to show the relationship. For every two related pieces in the cryptex, the angles are reversed to show the ongoing Camera Obscura process as well as an element of metamorphosis
